2. General Information
I take the protection of your personal data seriously. This website processes only data that is technically necessary to provide it securely and reliably. Personal data is not sold or used for advertising, profiling or analytics.
3. Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you access the website, the hosting provider processes technical access data in server log files. This may include the requested page or file, date and time of access, transferred data volume, access status, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, IP address and requesting provider.
The processing is necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. STRATO processes this data on my behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. According to STRATO, IP addresses in visitor log files are stored for a maximum of seven days for the detection and prevention of attacks.

4. Contact by Email
If you contact me by email, I process the information you provide to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the communication relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures; otherwise it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. The data is deleted when it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Cookies and External Services
This website does not use analytics tools, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies. Fonts, scripts and images are provided locally. Merely opening an email link may launch the email application configured on your device; no information is transmitted to me until you send a message.
6. Encryption
The website should be delivered using TLS/SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser. Please enable the SSL certificate and HTTPS redirection in your STRATO hosting settings.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you may have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
